Accessibility
We aim for WCAG 2.2 level AA on every page, in light and dark themes, at phone and desktop widths. We test with automated checks (axe) and by hand with a keyboard, and we fix what we find. We do not claim the site is fully compliant.
What to expect
- Every chart has a text description, and every verdict is written in words, never shown by colour alone.
- Everything works from a keyboard, with a visible focus ring, and a skip link to the content.
- Text sizes follow your browser's settings and stay readable at 200% zoom.
- One thing moves on its own: on the home page the receipt prints and its verdict is stamped once, as the page loads, in under a second. Nothing loops or moves after that. When your system asks for reduced motion the receipt simply fades in, and the hover colour changes switch off.
Known gaps
- Posts quoted from X are shown as their authors wrote them, including emoji and unusual formatting.
- The verdict image shared on social media carries the verdict and claim in its text, but the image itself cannot be read by a screen reader on other sites.
Tell us
If something here does not work for you, use the “Misread? Say so.” form on any receipt and describe the problem; it reaches a person.
